The Association of Physicians of Great Britain and Ireland is holding an Emerging Clinical Researchers workshop in Newcastle on the 23rd of May.
The Emerging Clinical Researchers Workshop provides a vital opportunity to focus on practical themes as part of in-depth conversations with experts and leaders in academic medicine. The ECR committee have put together a very exciting programme for the Workshop focussing on the pathways and networks which will support ECRs.
This is a programme designed by ECRs for ECRs. The Emerging Clinical Researchers Workshop is open to all member and non-member Clinical Fellows / PhD Students, Clinical Lecturers, Intermediate Fellows and Research Active clinicians (who do not yet hold a senior research fellowship, Professorial or equivalent academic position).
To further support aspiring researchers, the AoP offers a limited number of bursaries (up to £200 towards travel/accommodation) for AoP Emerging Clinical Researcher Member non consultant abstract presenters who actively participate in the conference programme.
